Humidity

Eddie Osterland
Humidity doesn’t affect wine. Humidity affects corks. Some people think they have a so-called wine cellar because they’ll put an air conditioner in it. An air conditioner works to take the temperature down by removing liquid from the air so the air is very dry. If you store your wine in this type of condition, after about 4 or 5 years the corks will dry out and begin to leak because there’s no water in the air. And then your whole investment is gone.
